Duncan Botting, Managing Director of ITI Energy, is to chair The Scottish European Green Energy Centre (SEGEC) when it opens in Aberdeen this summer.
SEGEC, which was officially launched in November of last year, is to be a pan-European hub to facilitate more effective engagement of Scotland with Europe. With Scottish researchers in universities, research institutes and commercial sectors being world leaders in low carbon energy research, the Centre will play a pivotal role in positioning Scotland at the heart of research, development and deployment of low carbon energy technologies across the EU.
